Time lapse tree

An emminently doable project, i Need merely to spend more than two years in the same spot. Set up cameras pointing at trees and watch them grow.
- setup could be tricky
- scripting and coding to get regular shots
- as could maintenance
- and then comes the sloppy art of image processing
Could a film of a tree growing possibly come from this? Not sure if it could, but it will.
