My lack of notes suggests that this paper wasn't so interesting to me.  My memory says the same.  They take the principle of stigmergy (look into Grasse) and apply it to web mining through some means that I didn't pay too close attention to.  There results are comparable to neural nets, genetic programming and other optimization techniques.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
